Position Overview
Sharp Infotech Inc is seeking qualified candidates for the role of ServiceNow Engineer / Platform Specialist / ITSM Developer to support enterprise ServiceNow implementations and platform operations for our clients. The selected candidates will work on designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow platform solutions across modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Configuration Management (CMDB), and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Development
• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow platform solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using server-side and client-side scripting.
• Develop components including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Configure modules such as Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
Platform Automation & Workflow Development
• Build and maintain workflows using Flow Designer and ServiceNow Workflow Engine.
• Automate business processes and service delivery operations.
• Optimize platform performance and ensure scalable architecture design.
System Integration
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
• Support integrations with monitoring and infrastructure tools.
• Enable automated incident creation and data synchronization across platforms.
IT Asset & Configuration Management
• Support asset lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Maintain CMDB data integrity and ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting.
• Implement governance standards for asset management and configuration data.
Platform Governance & Support
• Participate in code reviews and enforce ServiceNow development best practices.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with the ServiceNow platform in development, administration, or implementation roles.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and platform configuration.
• Experience supporting IT Service Management or enterprise service management platforms.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, ITAM, or CMDB.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and the CSDM framework.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications are a plus.
