Position Overview Sharp Infotech Inc is seeking Mainframe Developers to support enterprise legacy systems and financial services platforms for our clients. The selected candidates will design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS DB, and DB2. Qualified candidates on OPT or STEM OPT may be considered for H-1B visa sponsorship subject to lottery selection and petition approval. Client Project Assignment Selected candidates will be employed by Sharp Infotech Inc and assigned to client projects across the United States based on project requirements, client location, and business needs. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop batch and online programs using COBOL and JCL • Build and maintain transaction processing applications using CICS • Develop database-driven programs using IMS DB and DB2 • Support enterprise payment processing and financial transaction systems • Develop batch jobs and automated processing workflows for enterprise systems • Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability in high-volume environments • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and system architects • Maintain documentation for mainframe programs and system processes Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Experience with COBOL development • Experience with JCL, CICS, IMS DB, or DB2 • Experience working with mainframe batch and online transaction systems • Experience with version control or enterprise development tools Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting financial services or banking systems • Experience with high-volume transaction processing systems • Experience with legacy system modernization initiatives Equal Opportunity Employer Sharp Infotech Inc is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
